Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Tiny Text is designed to be private by default: there is no account, no sign-up, and everything you type into the Tiny Text Generator is converted locally in your browser. Your text is never sent to our servers — we simply never see it. This page covers the few things that do involve data, and the choices you have.

Preferences stored in your browser

The site saves a few preferences in your browser's local storage so they survive between visits. They stay on your device and are never transmitted:

  • Theme — your light/dark mode choice.
  • Favorites — styles you pinned with the heart button.
  • Recently copied — your last 10 copied styles on the Tiny Text Generator page.
  • Preview size — your preferred preview font size.

Separately, a one-time session flag (font-chunk-repair) may be set in session storage if a page fails to load an asset, so the tab can reload itself once with a fresh copy. It holds no personal data and disappears when you close the tab.

Offline storage (PWA)

So the tools keep working offline and load faster, the site installs a service worker that caches its own pages and assets on your device. This cache contains only the site's public files — no personal data — and you can remove it at any time by clearing site data for tinytext.com in your browser settings.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand overall traffic (page views, approximate region, device and browser type). This is aggregated usage statistics, not your typed content. Learn how Google handles this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, or opt out entirely with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to it, and this site does not currently respond to DNT signals. Either way, your preferences and anything you type stay on your device.

Advertising

Ads may be served by Google AdSense, which can use cookies to deliver, measure, and (where permitted) personalize ads. Manage personalization at adssettings.google.com, or opt out of some third-party personalized ads at aboutads.info. We do not sell or share your personal information. We do not control the cookies set by third-party ad providers once loaded.

If you contact us

When you email us, we receive whatever you choose to send (your address and message). We use it only to reply. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy occasionally; the latest version is always on this page. Questions? Contact us.
